There have been all sorts of accusations as to why people get tattoos inked onto themselves in the locations that they do so, and you might find that there are more sights for novelty reasons, than actual reasons.
People have different preferences about tattoos, debating on whether or not color adds or takes from the meaning, if an intricate design is too much clutter or just the right message you’re trying to portray, but you will more than likely always receive a very biased opinion about the tattoo’s one receives, rather than hearing a genuine answer.
Religious tattoos don’t just stand by ones religious beliefs, when one gets a religious tattoo, there is always an incentive as to why, you’ll note that this is common among Catholics and seeing the repetitive tattoo of the virgin Mary and Baby Jesus, or having a quote one of the more common ones being “Only God can Judge me”, however religious tattoos are typically gotten in quote form, and refer to a lost loved one, in remembrance of them, and to symbolize the love you still carry for that person.
